about

We seek to investigate the practice of critical librarianship through a discussion of the value of challenging dominant narratives in instruction, reference, cataloging, and collections management.  We also seek to explore practical #critlib applications for everyday praxis.

We take an intersectional feminist approach to our communication, collaboration, and practice, including racial justice, queerness, and socioeconomic diversity. We seek to create a safe space at all levels of experience for  all who wish to develop a #critlib practice or want to learn more about critical librarianship.
